As previously mentioned, I don’t do resolutions. But as I think over the things I want for 2018, there are lots of things that most would call resolutions. I don’t because they aren’t specific, measurable objectives. Nevertheless, I wanted to share some of the things that I want to try to practice in 2018, you know, for kicks.
- Watch less TV
- Meditate more
- Exercise more
- Eat more salads
- Eat more lean meat
- Eat less sugar/carbs
- Drink less alcohol
- Write more
- Stretch more
- Sleep more (with an infant in the house, yes)
- Communicate better
- Introspect more
- Create more
- Cook more
- Execute better
- Pay less attention to politics
- Worry less about arguments on the internet
- Pay more compliments
- Listen more closely
- Make more eye contact
- Take more Me Time
- Pay closer attention
- Accept less blame (especially when no one is blaming me except me!)
- Be more patient
- Bite my nails less
- Cuddle with my daughter as much as possible
- Go outside more
- Ride my bike more
- Swim more
- Blog more
- Take my vitamins
I’m sure there are more things than this, but you get the picture.
