As previously mentioned, I don’t do resolutions.  But as I think over the things I want for 2018, there are lots of things that most would call resolutions.  I don’t because they aren’t specific, measurable objectives.  Nevertheless, I wanted to share some of the things that I want to try to practice in 2018,  you know, for kicks.

  • Watch less TV
  • Meditate more
  • Exercise more
  • Eat more salads
  • Eat more lean meat
  • Eat less sugar/carbs
  • Drink less alcohol
  • Write more
  • Stretch more
  • Sleep more (with an infant in the house, yes)
  • Communicate better
  • Introspect more
  • Create more
  • Cook more
  • Execute better
  • Pay less attention to politics
  • Worry less about arguments on the internet
  • Pay more compliments
  • Listen more closely
  • Make more eye contact
  • Take more Me Time
  • Pay closer attention
  • Accept less blame (especially when no one is blaming me except me!)
  • Be more patient
  • Bite my nails less
  • Cuddle with my daughter as much as possible
  • Go outside more
  • Ride my bike more
  • Swim more
  • Blog more
  • Take my vitamins

I’m sure there are more things than this, but you get the picture.
